Bike Rack Recommendation for Truck and Travel Trailer

Question:

I am looking into a hitch bike rack that will be compatible for both my Toyota Tacoma 4wd and my future travel trailer, I know that I need a 2 inch hitch. What are folks experience with switching bike rack hitches between trucks and trailers? Any recommendations? Thank you

We have a handful of bike racks that can be used for your Toyota Tacoma as well as a travel trailer and if the hitch on your future trailer mounts to the frame of the trailer, like what we see with the Curt Hitch # 13703, then I can't recommend the Kuat Transfer V2 # KU84FR highly enough. This rack not only looks great but also has a unique U-Shaped frame that makes loading and unloading bikes a LOT easier than the standard platform rack.

If the hitch on your trailer mounts to the bumper then an alternative bike rack is the Jack-It 2 Bike Rack # LC429756 which actually mounts in the same place as your trailer jack. This frees up the lightweight bumper hitch for something like a spare tire or cargo rack which can be valuable. Then to use this bike rack on your Tacoma you just need the Bump-It Hitch Receiver Adapter # LC723359.

Attached are some review videos for you to check out. If you can give me some more details about your bikes I can make sure these racks will be a good fit for your application.
