Replacement 3,500 lbs Axle w/ 4 Inch Drop for a Tandem Axle Trailer w/ a 5 on 4-1/2 Bolt Pattern

Question:

Recently the bearings in my tandem axle trailer were destroyed and ruined the spindle. I am now looking to replace the whole axle and Im having trouble finding the proper one. The original Dexter tag is still legible and reads as follows. Dex # 50886 , D35 HF-94.5 and SC 70.0 . It is a 4" drop , electric brake, 3500 lb assembly and I am willing to replace complete with the brake assemblies. Your help would be appreciated.

I have a solution for you and a great axle but it is going to require you to move your spring seats. It is the Trailer Axle w/ Electric Brakes item # e45SR. This axle has spring seats mounted at 80". It has a 4" drop with hubs that have a 5 on 4-1/2 bolt pattern. This axle kit includes electric brakes as well.

The hub face to hub face measurement is 95" which will not be an issue as you will only have a 1/4" extra on either side.

I have linked an installation video below.

If your tandem axle trailer does not have a 5 on 4-1/2 bolt pattern then go ahead and email me back with the pattern you do have and I will make another recommendation that will work for you.
