Does Latch Offset Need to Be Considered for Fit of Global Link RV Entry Door

Question:

What is the offset dimension from the edge of the door to the lock installation hole? We have a 1967 Aristocrat with orginal door. The rectangular hole size and door thickness are compatible with this latch, but I cant find the offset dimension required by the latch to determine if this will work for my application.

If the door thickness and cut out size matches what the Global Link RV Entry Door Locking Latch Kit with Keyed Alike Option # 295-000021 was designed for there's no need to try and match latch offset as that will match up as well. That's not a dimension that's needed thankfully when picking out RV latches since it's basically a standard dimension.

Fits doors that are 1-1/4" to 1-1/2" thick
Installs into latch cutouts that are 2-1/2" wide x 3-1/2" tall to 3" wide x 4" tall
