Can The Booster Module For The SureCall Signal Booster Be Mounted Under The Hood Of The Vehicle

Question:

Can this booster be mounter under the hood? Assuming all connections can have dielectric grease applied, if advised, and sealed with shrink tubing, can the booster ‘black box’ be mounter under the hood? All connections would be handier, and ventilation would be improved. The external antenna could utilize a fender mount bracket. My application would be on a ‘17 F150. Also, I use a NetGear portable hotspot, that’s linked to my ATandT service. Would I see an improvement with my wifi service? Thanks,

The booster module for the SureCall Fusion2Go 3.0 RV Cell Phone Signal Booster # SC43MR can pretty much be mounted anywhere, they just recommend keeping it out of the weather and close to the power source. If you feel the mounting location under the hood of your 2017 Ford F-150 offers adequate protection from the elements then you can definitely install it there.

This booster is compatible with all major North American cell phone providers so it will help boost your AT&T hotspot service.
