Slip Hub for Attaching a Waste Valve to a 3" Outlet on a Gray Water Tank

Question:

Hi, Im building a camper and Im at the point ot setting up the gray water tank. Im thinking I will use a Ronco 65H 20 gallon polyethylene tank connected to a 3inch slip hub such as P/N T1005. This will go to a guillotine valve and then an elbow for the sewer hose hookup. My questions are: 1 Is the slip hub a good option for connecting to the 3inch outlet of the tank? 2 What adhesive should I use to bond the polyethylene to the ABS plastic of the slip hub? Thanks

Yes, using the Valterra RV Sewer Slip Hub with Flange # T1005 paired with a guillotine style waste valve like the Valterra Bladex Waste Valve Body # T1003VPM is a good option for your gray water tank. This would bond together using the Valterra ABS Solvent Cement # A05-0303.
