Can 5' Roller Bunks Be Used in Place of 7' Bunk Boards for a 15' Sail Fish Center Console Boat

Question:

Hey guys, I have a 1995 Sail Fish 15’ center console boat. The boat has 2-7’ bunks…I’m looking to see if a 5’ roller bunk would work in place of the 7’ bunks? I have attached some pics. The brackets holding the current 7’ bunk is approximately 50” apart. From what I can see it would be able to bolt on a 5’ roller bunk…. I just bought the boat, unfortunately the place that I need to launch it is very shallow. Looking for your asst. Thanks

We have had this come up before and the manufacturer stated that the CE Smith Roller Bunks for Boat Trailers # CE27710 would work for a 15' boat in place of your 7' bunk boards as long as the cross members are 56 inches or less. Which your 50" spread is.

You can mount them to the existing bunk boards on your trailer or you can use the CE Smith Bolster and Swivel Bracket Assemblies for Roller Bunks # CE10003G-4.
