What Do I Need To Carry A Rooftop Cargo Box On A 2022 Subaru Forester Wilderness
Question:
Looking to see what roof rack options are available on the market for a 2022 forester wilderness. Planning on mounting a cargo box so any links or insight on available options would be helpful as I haven’t found much.

Your 2022 Subaru Forester Wilderness has raised rails. You should have no problem mounting a rooftop cargo box to this vehicle, provided you install an aftermarket roof rack first. My roof rack recommendation will consist of the following items:
Thule WingBar Evo Crossbars - Aluminum - Silver - 50" Long - Qty 2, part # TH711300
Evo Raised Rail Feet for Thule Crossbars - Factory Raised Rails - Qty 4, part # TH710401
Thule One-Key System Lock Cylinders - Qty 4, part # TH450400
This roof rack has a maximum weight capacity of 165 lbs. It comes with elliptical shaped crossbars to help reduce wind noise and aid in fuel efficiency. I included the Thule One-Key System lock cores so you can secure the rack to your vehicle.
The next item you need is the rooftop cargo box. The Thule Pulse Large Rooftop Cargo Box - 16 cu ft - Matte Black, part # TH615, is a 16 cu ft cargo box and it will fit on the roof of your vehicle without issue.
I have included product description links, video review links, and a video of this rack being installed on a 2020 Subaru Forester below.
