Trailer Wiring Harness For A 2011 Dodge Grand Caravan
Question:
I want to install a trailer wiring harness on my 2011 dodge caravan. There is already a long wire coming from the battery that was used to power a wheelchair ramp that is no longer in the vehicle. The wire is in great shape. Is there an easy way to use this for a trailer wiring harness? Or is it not worth considering? Thanks

The wire that is already ran from your battery you can consider it. You will need The Curt Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # C56331. This harness will give you a 4-flat connector which will make it to where your trailer's stop, turn and taillights will mirror your vehicle's stop, turn and taillights.
This custom-fit T-One connector plugs into your vehicle's wiring harness, which is located behind the driver's-side and passenger's-side tail lights. You will have to remove the tail light assemblies to access this harness. You can splice in the wire that is already running from your battery to the new harness.
Once the installation is complete, the 4-way flat connector will be stowed beneath your vehicle, near the trailer hitch. The Mounting Bracket # 18144 (sold separately) is recommended to keep the connector secure.
I attached an installation video link below.
