Electric Brakes & Bearings For Livin Lite Quicksilver 6.0 Camper Trailer

Question:

Please direct me to the right kit. I have a 650 lb trailer, a Livin Lite Quicksilver 6.0, that needs a brake assembly replacement for its 12 wheels. I found Dex 1843909 on the tag. The wheel bore measures 3-1/8. 5 bolt with 4.5". There are casting stamps in the drum WF3 IMI8 and 8-257. I also uncovered a stamp at the back of the assembly 023 048 00 right hand 6294041912 Also a stamp on the training arm of the Dexter axle 69-48, HO, 096. And apparently I need new bearing and seals because this is where all the grease went on this wheel :) Thanks

That is fantastic information, much appreciated, and based on that we have exactly what you need for electric brakes and bearings for your Livin Lite Quicksilver 6.0. The 8-257 is the Dexter Trailer Hub and Drum Assembly for 2,000-lb Axles - 7" - 5 on 4-1/2 # 8-257-5UC3, and the 023-048 are 7 inch brakes, so here is exactly what you'll need:

- Electric Trailer Brake Kit - 7" - Left and Right Hand Assemblies - 2,000 lbs # AKEBRK-2

- Mounting Hardware for 7" Brake Assemblies # BRKH7

- Bearing Kit, L44649 Inner/Outer Bearings, 10-60 Seal # BK1-150

For connecting the wiring to your brakes I recommend the Deka Heat Shrink Butt Connectors # DW05745-10, and if you need an adjustment spoon for the brakes the correct part is the Brake Adjustment Spoon # W80630.
