How To Determine Correct Brake Assembly For 2007 Airstream Safar Travel Trailer
Question:
Do you have a brake assembly for a 2007 Airstream Safari 23’ ?

Replacement brakes typically correspond with the capacity of your axles. They also need to match the bolt pattern on the brake mounting flange as well as the size of your drum on the hub and drum assembly. Based on what I have found, it is likely that your 2007 Airstream Safari is using 3,500 lb axles.
I recommend checking the axle tag to verify this information. If there is no information on the axle you could also measure the drum which would typically be 10" x 2-1/4". Although these dimensions could also indicate a 4,400 lb axle, I'm positive your axle capacity is not that high.
Assuming that is the case, you should also have a 4 bolt brake flange pattern. For a brake assembly that will fit you can use the # 23-26-27 you were looking at. However, I recommend getting self-adjusting brakes like the Electric Trailer Brake Kit - Self-Adjusting - 10" - Left and Right Hand Assemblies - 3,500 lbs # AKEBRK-35-SA. If you would prefer to stick with the Dexter brand then the # 23-468-469 is also available.
If you find that you have a different axle capacity or drum size please feel free to reach out and I will help you find the correct brake assembly for your Airstream.
