Question:

Hi I am looking for a dual E bike trailer both have fat tires 4 inches and really need one with the ramp which one would be my best bet. 71 years old. Thanks. The heybike explore is 80 inches long and then we have a Aventon aventure that is 75 inches long 26 x 4 tires. Both are step thru

Thank you for all of the information!

The only bike rack we carry that hits on everything you're wanting is the Thule EasyFold XT # TH903202 combined with 2 sets of the Fat Bike Straps # TH985101.

The EasyFold XT has a weight capacity of 65 lbs per bike (yours should fall into this with the batteries removed), will work with up to 4-11/16" wide tires when you use the Fat Tire Straps, and then it has a max wheelbase of 51-3/16" which the Aventon Adventure fits just fine in but is the absolute max for your Heybike Explore. The wheelbase is measured from the center of one axle to the center of the other axle while the 80" measurement you gave me for the Heybike is your overall length.

This rack also comes with a storable ramp that can be upgraded to a longer ramp with part # TH933402 so the angle you'll be pushing the bikes up and down at is easier.

One last thing to keep in mind is that since your bikes have step-thru frames it might be hard for the clamps of the EasyFold XT to properly secure the frame so you may need an adapter bar like part # TH982XT to give the clamps something to hold onto.

Attached are some review videos for you to check out.
