The Hopkins Plug-In Simple Vehicle Wiring Harness # HM11140444 is confirmed to fit he 2013-2020 Ford Fusion Sport.
We have the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C12164 that is also confirmed to fit your 2017 Ford Fusion. Curt recommends using either the Curt Class II Drawbar # C45016 with a 1-7/8" Ball # 19256 or 2" Ball # 19258 to match your trailer coupler. You can also use the 1-7/8" Euro Style Drawbar # C45561 or the 2" Euro Style Drawbar # C45562 if you prefer this style.
I recommend using the BOLT Trailer Hitch Receiver Lock # BL7023630 and BOLT Trailer Coupler Lock # BL7025290 to secure the ball mount and trailer coupler. These locks can be keyed to your Fusion's key so there is no need to carry additional keys for the locks.
