Timbren Rear Suspension Enhancement Compared to Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 for 2016 Ram 2500

Question:

Do you know if this is better than the Timbren system I current have on my 2016 Ram 2500? I have the mega cab and the Timbren springs are like half an inch to one inch from contact at rest. So it’s a very harsh ride over any bumps. I’m looking for something that can be softer when not towing our 13k 5th wheel toy hauler, but don’t want to make the same mistake if the difference in ride quality is negligible. Thanks.

I prefer the Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 Air Helper Springs, # AL57289 to the Timbren Rear Suspension Enhancement System, # TDR2500D simply due to its adjustability. The Timbren, # TDR2500D is a great suspension enhancement for the 2016 Ram 2500 but with the Air Lift LoadLifter 5000, # AL57289 you can adjust from 5 to 100 psi providing front to back leveling based on load and you have option of adjusting independently for side-to-side leveling of off-center loads. When the added suspension enhancement is not needed, simply deflate to the minimum recommended 5psi and depend on the OEM suspension for ride quality.
