Phoenix Faucets Hybrid RV Kitchen Faucet Compatiblity With A 2004 Pleasure-Way Excel TD Motorhome

Question:

Im replacing a Phoenix Faucet in my 2004 Pleasure-Way Excel TD with a PF231321 in a single hole configuration. Overall, I am very impressed with the quality compared to the original. Two questions: 1. The old units water lines pass through a hole in an adjacent wall. The hole is filled with silicone that is very difficult to remove. Any suggestions on how to remove old globs of silicone? 2. Does this faucet need an adapter to fit the RV water lines or are they of the same diameter?

I typically just use a razor knife, like # PT92ZR, to cut out small chunks of caulk at a time until I can get the line free. Just be careful that you don't cut into the line if it's pex or some other soft tubing.

The Phoenix Faucets Hybrid RV Kitchen Faucet # PF231321 uses a 1/2" male pipe thread water supply line size, so you can just measure yours to confirm. Typically it will be the same size but you never know if someone else made modifications before you purchased the motorhome.
