Can The Goal Zero EC8 Cable Be Extended Without Overheating The Wire
Question:
I would like to place a Goal Zero yeti 1500 inside my camper. To do so I will need additional EC 8 cable length apps 20 ft total fun. How far can the EC 8 cable run and still allow the yeti to perform properly without overheating the cable.

You can get 12' EC8 extension cables # GZ96YR to install the Goal Zero Yeti 1500X Lithium Portable Power Station with Boulder 100 Solar Panel - 120V # GZ27FR in your camper.
Adding length to the wire can actually end up giving you a voltage drop since there's more impedance rather than overheat the wire. You'd essentially be losing just a tiny bit of power as it circulates through the extended wire.
