Recommended Adjustable Ball Mount to Replace Curt Rebellion XD With Bulldog Collar-Lok Coupler

Question:

Hello team, Looking for your recommendation for an adjustable ball mount for 2 5/16 ball. Towing 3 horse aluminum trailer believe it weighs around 4K lbs. I tried the Curt Rebellion XD but the bulldog hitch collar locking type severely rubbed the tip of the hitch so I couldnt use it. Looking for any recommendations you have that would work with bulldog hitch. Thank you in advance for your help.

For a replacement shock-absorbing adjustable ball mount I recommend the Gen-Y Torsion 2-Ball Mount w/ Stacked Receivers - 2" Hitch - 7-1/2" Drop/Rise - 10,000 lbs # 325-GH-1025. The Gen-Y design is incredibly sturdy and will have no problem handling your trailer. This uses a stacked receiver design and has a heavy-duty steel construction.

The Gen-Y requires a tongue weight of 400-1,000 lbs for the shock-absorption to work so at 4,000 lbs you should be meeting that requirement. It also has a built in tongue weight scale to help you balance your trailer. This ball mount has a 7-1/2" rise/drop and comes with a 2" and 2-5/16" ball. It also features a 10-year limited warranty.

If you don't want the shock-absorbing ball mount then I recommend the Gen-Y Adjustable 2-Ball Mount w/ Stacked Receivers - 2" Hitch - 7-1/2" Drop/Rise - 16K # 325-GH-524. This has the same rise/drop and heavy-duty construction as the other Gen-Y.
