How Can I Make My 2-1/2 Inch HItch To A 1-1/4 Inch Hitch
Question:
I need to reduce a trailer hitch from 2-1/2 to 1-1/4, but I cant find a single reducer sleeve to do that. Can I use a 2 to 1-1/4 reducer inside a 2-1/2 to 2 reducer to get ti to the size I need?

When it comes to reducing your 2-1/2 inch hitch to a 1-1/4 inch hitch there are a couple different parts you will need. First you will need The Curt Hitch Receiver Reducer Sleeve - 2-1/2 inch to 2 inch # C45405. Then you would need to use The Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver Adapter - 2 inch (Class III) to 1-1/4 inch - 4 inch Long # C45770.
When using The Curt 2 inch - 1-1/4 inch adapter will reduce your hitch's weight capacity by 50 percent. Do not use this hitch adapter in towing applications. You will need a locking pin to keep the reducer sleeves together so The Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver Lock - 1-1/4 inch and 2 inch Hitches - Stainless Steel # C23517 will help secure and locked when you're not around the vehicle.
I attached a couple review video links below.
