What you will need is a dual purpose ball mount, # D210. This ball mount has a receiver welded to the top and a ball mount on the bottom allowing you to tow a trailer and use the Rhino-Rack T-Load, # RTL002, at the same time. The ball mount is rated for 750 pounds tongue weight overall but the receiver portion is rated for 350 pounds tongue weight.

The combined weight of the T-Load and the cargo cannot exceed 350 pounds. And the combined weight of the T-Load, cargo, and tongue weight of the trailer cannot exceed 750 pounds. The ball mount is also rated for 7,500 pounds gross trailer weight. I have included a link to a video review of the D210 for you.

If you need a trailer hitch the most popular option for your 2011 Toyota Tacoma is Curt hitch # 13323. This is a Class III hitch with a 2 inch receiver. It is rated for 500 pounds tongue weight and 5,500 pounds gross trailer weight. Since it is rated lower than the D210 you will need to go by the lower rating. Also check the vehicle owners manual for its towing capacities and if lower than the hitch, go by the lower rating. I have included a link to a video showing a typical installation for you.

If you need trailer wiring use # 118496.
