We may have the hardware you're needing depending on the winch you're planning on using for your 1997 Ford Explorer.
For example, for Bulldog winches, we have the:
-Bulldog Winch Mounting Hardware # BDW20180 which contains 4 grade 5 10mm x 40mm bolts.
-The Bulldog Winch Hardware for Universal Mounting Plate for Truck Winches # BDW20297 which contains 4 grade 8 10mm x 30 mm bolts.
&
-The Bulldog Winch Mounting Hardware # BDW20179 which contains 4 grade 5 10 mm x 30 mm bolts.
If you can let me know what winch bracket you're trying to use, I can see what we have for you.
