While we do have a bike rack option for you, we currently do not have any hitches that we well that can allow you to mount a rack for your plug-in Hybrid 2022 Hyundai Ioniq. This is because since your model is a new model, manufacturers have not engineered a model that fits the exact design of your vehicle quite yet.

With that being said, I recommend using a trunk bike rack like the Yakima FullBack 2 # Y02634 or the FullBack 3 # Y02633. Not only does the FullBack include a 35-pound per bike weight capacity, it also comes with integrated locks that protect the rack and the bikes themselves from theft.

However, it is important to note that the FullBack is only an option if you plan to take your bikes short distances. This is because, since the installation requires you to put the top and bottom straps in anchor mode, this can potentially damage the headliner or trunk liner of your Ioniq.

If you plan to take your bikes on a longer journey, I recommend using a roof-mounted system. I recommend the following setup:

- Yakima JetStream Crossbars - 60" # Y00426
- BaseLine Towers for Yakima Crossbars - Naked Roofs # Y28TR
- BaseClip Fit Kit - Qty. 2 # Y06175
- BaseClip Fit Kit - Qty. 2 # Y06111

With this particular system, you will be able to mount a roof rack bike rack. I recommend the Yakima FrontLoader # Y02103 because of its wheel-mount style. With this mounting style, you do not need to worry about the frustrating mounting process of a fork-mounted rack. Since the FrontLoader only measures only 9-1/4" wide, you can mount more than one FrontLoader to the crossbars.

I went ahead and attached some demo videos for you to check out.
