Can Furrion Vision S System View Behind You At all Times
Question:
Hello, I have a 2021 Montana 5th Wheel that already has the Furrion camera prepped on the back of the 5th wheel. My question is will this only work as a backup camera or can I observe the image while driving down the road? Are they typically wired to the marker lights or the reverse lights might be another way to ask. Are there specific Furrion cameras to accommodate both scenarios or is it reliant upon how the RV has it wired. Thanks.

You can easily use the Furrion Vision S observation systems like part # FOS43TASF as a way to view traffic behind you at any time by using the running light circuit as the activation circuit for the camera. This means that any time you want to see behind you all you have to do is turn on either the running lights or head lights. This is actually the standard way to wire this system as reverse lights aren't that common on trailer wiring. You actually can have the running lights on all the time and it will show behind you at all times.
