Do Both Wires of 7-Way Adapter have to Be Grounded
Question:
I have a Subaru Outback wilderness, can I connect the ground wire from the 7pin to the 4 pin white ground? As I am having problems with getting a ground nearby.

The 7-way adapter part # 30717 does have two grounds but you do want to ground the extra white wire to the vehicle frame. The main ground of the harness is for the lighting functions and the extra is for the brake controller output circuit and the 12 volt accessory.
