How Does Redarc Tow Pro Elite Install with 3027-P Harness
Question:
FYI, Tour+Motorhome shows a kit which includes the RED44FR and the 3027-P. The 3027-P is not compatible with the RED44FR. The controller connector is the wrong type. Also, The RED44FR is not listed in the controllers that the 3027-P will work with. This discrepancy has cause me great confusion and inaccurate part ordering. Im going to cut off the controller connector on the 3027-P and replace it with the pig-tail connector that works with the RED44FR. Thanks,

This is a good question but the Redarc Tow Pro Elite # RED44FR does install with the part # 3027-P but you have to cut off the black connector and then wire the colors to the brake controller wiring color for color. We don't have a Redarc connector that matches so this is best option and still makes install much easier.
