Vespa Hitch Scooter Carrier Solution for 2021 Acura RDX
Question:
I have a 2021 RDX with the Acura OEM installed 1-1/4 hitch installed. Is there a carrier for a vespa scooter for a 1-/14 class 2 hitch? I see all the ones you recommend are for a 2inch receiver. I hate to use a 1-1/4 to 2inch adapter just adds another potential failure point in.

Since you won't be able to find a scooter or motorcycle carrier that fits a 1-1/4 inch hitch your best option would be to install a 2 inch hitch on your 2021 Acura RDX like the Draw Tite part # 76268 which has more than enough capacity and would work great with a carrier like the part # UF48-979033 you mentioned.
