I bought a hitch for a prius and it was thw wrong one. the installer said I needed a regular prius hitch not a Prius C hitch. So how do I know which one..even the Prius dealer can give me no information

The EcoHitch Hidden Trailer Hitch Receiver # 306-X7178 will fit the 2013 Toyota Prius. It will also fit the plug in hybrid. This receiver has a 2" sleeve which will allow you to use a wider range of ball mounts and hitch mounted accessories.

I recommend having the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness # 118505 installed with the receiver. This will allow you to use Auxiliary Lights # C53201 with any hitch mounted accessory that impairs the view of your tail lights.
