Recommended Trailer Hitch Receiver for 2019 Kia Sorento
Question:
Hi, i just bought a bike rack for a 2019 Kia sorento. We have never had a bike rack on the car before. Do we also have to buy a separate hitch?

Yes, to mount the Thule Hitching Post Pro, # TH934XTR to your 2019 Kia Sorento, you need the etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver, # e98843. This is a Class III bolt-on hitch with a 2"x2" receiver. It comes with all needed hardware and I even have an installation video linked of this being installed on a 2019 Kia Sorento to help you with the process.
My suggestion is go ahead and add the trailer wiring at the same time too, in case you need/want to tow a trailer. Use the Hopkins Plug-In Simple Wiring Harness for Factory Tow Package, # HM11143965 as this T-connector plugs directly into the OEM wiring harness so no need to cut and splice anything. And I recommend the etrailer Ball Mount Kit for 2" Hitches, # 989891 as this comes with both the 1-7/8" and 2" ball and at a great price compared to many other options.
