Replacement Brake Assemblies that Can Fit 5,200 lb Hayes Axle
Question:
Hello. I am about to dig into my trailers electric brake system. I have the original axle tags. They are manufactured by Hayes, 5200lb The number at the top reads 1 195 92. They seem quite heavy duty. Do you have a parts list for brake components like springs, shoes, retainers etc.?

Expert Reply:
Most likely we have replacement assemblies but the individual parts will be dependent on the brand and numbers you find on the brake assemblies themselves as they are commonly swapped out for different brands. The assemblies are all interchangeable between brands but the replacement parts are not.
So the simple solution we can provide would be all new assemblies with the part # AKEBRK-6.
