Capacity Options for the Mount-n-Lock GennyGo Generator and Cargo Carrier
Question:
Can I bolt my generator straight to the support arms instead of buying the bascket? I believe it will provide the shear value they need with three bolts per arm

I checked with my rep at BetterBilt Solutions, the company that owns Mount-N-Lock. He said not to use just the Replacement Support Arms for Mount-n-Lock GennyGo Generator and Cargo Carrier item # MNT84FR to support a generator. These arms can be used to upgrade a current systems capacity but they are not rated to be used without the tray. Depending on the weight of your generator you will want to purchase either the Mount-n-Lock GennyGo Generator and Cargo Carrier for RV Bumpers:
400 lbs item # MNT64FR
250 lbs item # MNT67FR
200 lbs item # MNT34FR
125 lbs item # MNT77FR
