Weight of Roadmaster RM-521448-5 Base Plate Kit
Question:
How much weight does this crossbar bracket add to the front of my Jeep?

Helpful Expert Reply:
The Roadmaster # RM-521448-5 will add about 40 lbs to your Jeep Wrangler.
In addition to the base plates, you'll also need a tow bar, safety cables, wiring, a supplemental braking system and possibly a high/low adapter if the height difference between the base plates and the hitch on the motorhome is greater than 3 inches.
I've linked to a help article that will show some recommendations for the products mentioned above. I'll also link to an install video that you might find helpful.
