Adjustable Ball Mount That Fits Both a 2 and 2-1/2 Receiver That is Lockable  

Question:

I have a 2014 Ram 3500 with 2 1/2inch receiver. I see a sleeve on this hitch that appears to be held in place by a bolt or two. Can the sleeve be removed so that it can also be used on my Class A RV which has a 2inch receiver?

The Self-Locking, Adjustable 2-Ball Mount, Stainless Balls # DTALBM6625-2S sleeve cannot be removed to be used with a 2" hitch. The hitch receiver locking mechanism that is built into the hitch will only allow it to work on a 2-1/2" receiver.

We have the Self-Locking, Adjustable 2-Ball Mount w Chrome Balls # DTALBM6400 that you can use on your RV if you prefer the built in locks. Or the Rapid Hitch Adjustable Aluminum Ball Mount Kit # AM3411 can be used with both your RV and 2014 Ram 3500. You will need a Reducer Sleeve # BWRHXA2182 to use with your ram. And the Rapid Hitch Trailer Hitch Lock and Adjustment Pin Lock Set # AM3492 will allow you to secure the hitch to either vehicle receiver.
