B & W Fifth Wheel Hitch For 2019 F-350 To Tow A 2022 Open Range Fifth Wheel RV
Question:
I am purchasing a 2022 open range 5th wheel with a gvwr of 16k. Do I purchase a 20k hitch or a 25k? Im looking to purchase the bandw companion. I have a 2019 F-350 Super Duty with OEM prep and a long bed.

**B&W Companion OEM 5th-Wheel Hitch for Ford Super Duty Prep Package - Dual Jaw - 20,000 lbs # BWRVK3300.
*Lube Plate for Elite Series and Reese 5th Wheel Trailer Hitches - 12" Diameter # RP83001.
If you have a GVWR of 16k there is no need to go up to 25k unless you are going to upgrade later on to a heavier RV.
I recommend this 20k B and W, it will work great for your needs and will fit into the OEM prep package on your 2019 F-350.
I suggest getting a lube plate too. It will last about 6-8 months depending on how often you use it and where you take it. It is way cleaner than fifth wheel grease and even if it only lasts a season it pays for it self in convenience.
