Question about upgrading Fastway E2 round bars from 600# to 800# on a trailer with approx. 600-650# tongue weight. Will the 800# bars be to rigid? RV dealer says they wont do it as it could bend the trailer frame. Thanks

The risk of going to a higher than needed spring bar is not that it will bend the trailer frame so much as it is that the ride quality would become harsher. Now if your tongue weight is 650 lbs an 800 lb round bar like the part # FA94-02-0899 would work well without causing any frame or ride quality issues.

You can swap just the spring bars of your Fastway Round Bar Weight distribution system to a higher rated setup. For that we have the part #FA94-02-1099 for 1,000 lb tongue weight or the part #FA94-02-0899 for up to 800 lb tongue weight.
