How To Connect The MaxxFan Roof Vent To Power On A 2016 Jayco Jay Feather TT
Question:
Existing roof vent has no fan. I would like to replace with a MaxxAir 4 speed fan. Would there likely be unused wiring in the ceiling for this connection? If not, how would I run wiring to the new vent fan? Thank you! 2016 Jayco Jay Feather Travel Trailer.

The MaxxFan Roof Vent w/ 12V Fan # MA00A04301K only has two wires to connect; a positive and a negative. Since this is a new install, and that there is no preexisting wiring from a previous fan, there would be no unused wiring.
To connect # MA00A04301K to your 2016 Jayco Jay Feather TT, you will just need to use the provided 16 AWG insulated connectors to connect the trailer's 12 volt power to the two wires.
The black wire should be labeled, but if it isn't, this wire is your positive wire, and the white wire is your negative wire.
I have attached an installation video for you to check out, you can skip to 11:22 in the video to see the portion going over making these electrical connections.
