I have a 2012 Chevy 3500hd and have no trailer brakes on trailers with electric over hydraulic brakes why is that

If you are using the Integrated Brake Controller (IBC) on your 2012 Chevrolet Silverado 3500, that would be why it is not working. The IBC's on the GM trucks don't work with electric over hydraulic brakes. You would either need to convert the trailers over to electric brakes or the easier route would be to install an aftermarket brake controller like the Tekonsha Prodigy P3 Trailer Brake Controller # 90195.
