Anti Chucking Solution For Andersen Ultimate Connection 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch
Question:
Hello and looking for information on this set up. Im constantly removing my heavy 5th wheel hitch and this looks like the solution to me. Is there any anti chucking properties built in to this or is there another solution while using this hitch?

That is a really good question, lets find a solution for you.
**Andersen Ultimate Connection 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch System with Adapter - 20,000 lbs # AM3200.
*Gen-Y Hitch 5th Wheel to Gooseneck Pin Box - Auto Latch - Lippert 1621/1621 HD - 21K - 3.5K TW # GY58GR.
Chucking comes from a loose connection at the coupling point between the trailer and the hitch/ball.
The Andersen is a light hitch and really easy to remove and install, but when you add an adapter to the mix that makes more connection points and more moving parts means more chucking.
However, if you must have an easy to remove hitch, I recommend getting the Gen-Y Gooseneck pin box. The built in torsion system will help dampen the chucking that is inherent with gooseneck trailers. This will let you use the Andersen without the adapter and will remove another connection point.
If this is what you want to do I will need to know what type of pin pox you currently have so we can get you the exact replacement.
