How To Help with Bouncing While Using Weight Distribution on 2016 GMC Sierra 1500

I have a 2016 GMC SLT All Terrain 4x4 crew cab. I have the max trailer package up to 10,800 lbs. Hitch weight of travel trailer is 850lbs. Trailer max capacity 7,600lbs. Have plans to add a truck cap. Not sure if relevant but I have a ProPride 3P-1400 hitch. Also without trailer the truck bounces a lot going over speed bumps.

If you already have a weight distribution system then I would first recommend you try playing with the setting more to see if you can get rid of some of the bounce that way but if not, the SumoSprings Solo Custom Helper Springs you referenced will help with this as well. I recommend part # SSR-209-40 for a 2016 GMC Sierra 1500, these will work well with a weight distribution system since they do a great job of absorbing road shock. They also provide support but are one of the lower rated options on the market in this category. The real benefit of them is that they ride very smooth so they would be a nice additional to a system that already has a ton of support like your WDH.
