The difference between the Roadmaster Even Brake 2nd Vehicle Kit # RM-98400 and the # RM-98450 comes down to a change in the Even Brake system itself. The correct 2nd vehicle kit will be determined by the serial number on your Roadmaster Even Brake Portable Supplemental Braking System # RM-9400.
If your Even Brake has a serial number 27,496 or lower then you need the # RM-98400. This is also identified by a black cable.
If your Even Brake has a serial number is 27,497 or higher then you need the # RM-98450. This is also identified by a blue cable.
