Troubleshooting Installation of T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness on 2022 Kia Sorento
Question:
I looked behind the drivers rear tire under the cover that is there and there was no prewired plugs. However I attached a picture of two plugs that are located inside the rear bumper and I was wondering if they relocated the plugs to the bumper?

Expert Reply:
The Tekonsha T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # TK26FR uses the connection points behind your tail lights for installation. I'm not sure what the plugs are that you found located inside the rear bumper but they are not used for the installation of this wiring harness.
In order to install the wiring harness you will need to remove both drivers and passengers side tail lights. The T-One Connector will plug in between the vehicle wiring connectors and lock in place.
