Recommended Gooseneck Hitch for 2021 Ford F-450 Super Duty
Question:
Looking for expert recommendation on what’s best? I have a 2021 F450 Superduty with 8’ bed. Came with factory prep kit. I also purchased the Curt ball kit. Recently the “pin toggle” on top broke while pulling 14k on my Big Tex 35+5 25GN trailer going up I95 allowing the entire ball to come out of the receiver. Luckily no major accident happened but I now have a 5” hole in my bed that looks like a grenade was ped in it. I’ve been in contact with Curt and sending it to them for engineers review. But I think I’m done with that type system. Not sure my heart can take another failure. I’m interested in the other style using the rod that you access from drivers side wheel well. What do I need to purchase and can you recommend an installer close to Marietta Ga? Thank you
