Will The Jack-It 2 Bike Carrier For A-Frame Trailers Fit My Airstream Basecamp 20X

Question:

I am interested in the Jack-It 2 Bike Racket for my Airstream Basecamp 20x. Although it does have a manual front crank not a side crank I am just not sure that its tall enough / wont interfere with the very large propane/electrical cord storage that sits over the propane tanks behind the tongue jack. I didnt see any customer photos or a Basecamp 20x with that unit to validate or eliminate that concern.

I can help you find out if the Jack-It 2 Bike Rack for A-Frame Trailers - 22-1/2" Jack Clearance, part # LC429756, will fit your Airstream Basecamp 20x. You will have to take some measurements and compare them with the dimensions of this carrier.

The distance from the base of this carrier to the lowest point of the top bar of our jack is 22-1/2". Your jack cannot be taller than this measurement and wider than 7-3/8" to fit this bike rack. In order for this bike rack to clear the propane tanks on the tongue of your travel trailer, they cannot be taller than 27-1/2" from the jack base to the top of the tanks. The distance from the back of the support bar to the outermost point is 15-1/2". Please keep in mind, the handle bars and pedals of your bike will also help determine if this bike rack will work for you. You should also pickup a cable lock, part # e98891, to secure it to your trailer. I would take a measurement from the front of the travel trailer to base of your jack and subtract 15-1/2". If that difference is 2' or greater, you should not have any issues. carrying a bike safely on this bike rack.

I have included a product description link and video review links below.
