How Far Do the Loading Cradles of the Thule Hullavator Extend to Load a Kayak?

Question:

What the "loading height" (how low will it be when I load the kayak) with the thule hullavator? My current crossbar system is 96inch high.

We went ahead and reached out to Thule, and they confirmed that while they do not have an exact measurement, the cradles of the Thule Hullavator # TH898 drop down about 36 inches from the top of the crossbar. With this factored into your current height, that is about 60 inches high.

However, it is important to note that you still need at least 4 inches of crossbar space past the feet for the Hullavator to function. If you need a crossbar system to have the appropriate length that you need, feel free to respond with your year/make/model of vehicle, and I will be happy to get you the setup you need.
