2019 Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk Hitch and Trailer Wiring Harness Suggestion

Question:

Im looking to help out my sister-in-law with her vehicle to add a hitch and trailer wiring connection. When I add the vehicle and do a search I get a couple options for the hitch. e73ZR - all models C13395 - Shows up as Trailhawk and Excluding Trailhawk C13171 - Shows up as Trailhawk and Excluding Trailhawk Im a little confused on the last three as each of them is listed twice, one that states Trailhawk and one that states Excluding Trailhawk Can you confirm that all of these models will fit the 2019 Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk? Thank you

Sorry about the confusion.

The Curt # C13398 and # C13171 and the etrailer brand # e73ZR would all fit the 2019 Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk.

Of the various options, a top choice would be the etrailer # e73ZR because once installed it would be the most concealed. The receiver tube would be accessed via the removable panel in the bumper fascia, making for a factory installed appearance. However, if you'll be towing with the hitch, it'll be difficult to attach the safety chains because of the way they'll be situated behind the fascia so this would be a better choice of you'll just use the hitch as an attachment point for a hitch mounted accessory like a bike rack or cargo carrier.

If you are planning on towing you will also need a wiring harness item # C56406 and a ball mount kit item # C45534.

For towing, my choice would be the etrailer # e73ZR. When installed, the hitch crossbar will be concealed behind the bumper with only the receiver tube and the safety chain loops being exposed to view. The receiver tube would sit just under the rear bumper fascia as shown in the provided photo.
