Can Blue Ox Kar Guard and Roadmaster Tow Defender be Used on Lifted Jeep

Question:

I will be flat towing a Jeep Wrangler with a 3” lift behind a 2007 Tiffin Phaeton 40 QSH with a side corner exhaust using a Blue Ox tow bar. See pictures. My questions are: 1. With the Jeep being lifted will that cause a problem turning with the Roadmaster 4750 since it may be higher or the same height as the RV bumper? 2. Will the exhaust be a issue for the Roadmaster 4750? 3. The Blue Ox Kargard be tall enough to protect my Jeep? 4. Do stones and debris bounce back off the Blu Ox Kargard back damaging the back of the Motorhome. What would your recommend if any for my application.

The Roadmaster Tow Defender Protective Screening # RM-4750 will work great on a lifted vehicle. Basically it actually lays flat on top of the tow bar so as long as the tow bar is level like it would need to be this will work great. What this does is prevent rocks from flying up and hitting the vehicle as they would instead hit the flat material that would bounce them back to the ground. This material is also tough enough that exhaust would not hurt it either.

The Blue Ox Kar Guard part # BX8870 also sits on top of the tow bar too but instead is a vertical guard. I like the protection of this kit but I prefer the storage of the Tow Defender and since the protection is about the same I would go with the Tow Defender.
