Should 2017 Carado Axion Use Weight Distribution Towing 2022 Sun Lite 16BH
Question:
I dont know if I need a weight distribution hitch, please help. I have a 2017 Carado Axion. Campervan built on a 2016 Ram Promaster 1500 high top. Specs say I can tow 4535 lbs trailer with 500 lbs tongue weight. Im looking to tow a 2022 Sun Lite 16bh, dry weight 2480 lbs, cc 1230 lbs. Please help. Thanks,

Since your trailer would end up weighing less than half of your 2017 Carado Axion's total weight a WD system wouldn't be as strongly recommended but it wouldn't be a terrible idea. For a system that would be rated well for your camper the Reese Pro Round Bar kit part # RE34FR would be a great solution.
