Simplifying Attaching Reese Pro Round Bar Weight Distribution On a 2022 Cherokee Wolf Pup 16BHS

Reese Pro Round Bar Weight Distribution w Sway Control - Round Bar - 6,000 lbs GTW, 600 lbs TW Item # RE34FR I am wanting to purchase this hitch. I have a 2019 Nissan Frontier, and camper is the 2022 Forest River Cherokee Wolf Pup 16BHS. In reviews someone mentioned the sway bars are difficult and greasy to hook up. Is this true? Can a woman be able to hook the sway bars?

The Reese Pro Round Bar Weight Distribution # RE34FR includes a lifting tool to make positioning the bars on the sway brackets easier. As these bars create the friction for the system which reduces trailer sway they should never be greased. Most users will lower the trailer onto the hitch ball and lock the coupler to the ball. Then they will use the tongue jack to raise the trailer up which will make installing the spring bars much easier. If your 2022 Forest River Cherokee Wolf Pup 16BHS includes a power tongue jack this will be very easy at it only requires the press of a button. We do have the Lippert Smart Jack # LC643589 you can install if you only have a manual tongue jack. I like this jack as it has a memory allowing you to set your hitch height and auto retract features so you do not have to stand there holding a button to wait for the jack to fully retract.

As for the review saying it was difficult to hook up they likely did not use this method above and the hitch may have not been adjusted properly which would cause it to be more difficult to connect.
