Recommended Snow Tire Cables for 315/70-17 Tires on Pickup

Question:

Hello. I have a pair I purchased for my old truck. I now have a 2021 Silverado Trailboss with 315/70r/17. The current cables I have say they fit on 315/70r/16. This might be a silly question but does that 1 inch in the wheel really make a difference? I don’t want to spend another $200+ if I don’t really need too. My truck is 4x4 with aggressive tires but the CHP in California sometimes requires chains if conditions are rough. Some times they just want to see them but I need to know just incase I have to put them on one day. We’re going to Yosemite next week and it’s expected to snow. Thank you in advance.

The only snow tire cables we currently offer for 315/70-17 tires are the Titan Chain Cable Snow Tire Chains part # TC3031 which should be used with the Titan Chain Multi-Arm Rubber Tire Chain Adjuster part # TCMA2. Please note, you will want to take a look through your owner's manual as well about proper tire chain usage.

Unfortunately, tire chains are rather specific to a tire size as they need to be tight on the tire therefore, there isn't any sort of one size fits all and most only fit a small range of tire sizes with very similar dimensions.
