Can Thule Force XT L Rooftop Cargo Box Fit with a Kayak Carrier
Question:
I have your collapsible angled kayak carrier and wanted to know if this can fit on my large SUV roof alongside it. Volkswagen Touareg TDI Executive was originally looking at the sport but after reading the reviews not so sure about it. So is this a viable option?

The Thule Force XT L Rooftop Cargo Box # TH6357B is 33" wide so it will take up at least that much space on your crossbars, but it's also important to remember that the lid will rotate out as well so you need to account for a little more space. I don't have an exact amount but I'd say at least 4".
From what I'm seeing you should be able to get this to fit with a kayak but you'll likely need to move your kayak carrier out to the edge of the crossbars as far as you can. You'll likely need crossbars somewhere in the ballpark of 60" long. If you have shorter bars let me know and I can see if there is a way we can help you get longer bars.
