Troubleshooting MaxxAir Roof Vent that Beeps Then Stops Working

Yesterday I was using my fan and all of a sudden the lid closed and the fan shut off .It beeped for about 10 seconds then stopped. The green light stays on all the time. I do not get any response from the remote or when I use the buttons on the fan. Batteries are new in the remote. Can you tell me what the problem is?

Acccording to MaxxAir, you'll want to remove power from the MaxxAir # MA00-04000K fan for a minute or two, then reconnect to reboot the circuit board. In the vast majority of instances, this will fix the problem. You should also check that the fan is receiving 12 volt power and that the rain sensor isn't wet.
