Roadmaster does not currently have a compatible adapter but Blue Ox does make an adapter that is compatible with an NSA Ready Brute Elite tow bar, part # BX88297.

For your 2009 Honda CR-V you would need the Blue Ox Base Plate Kit # BX2246. This base plate will be compatible with the adapters referenced above and allow you to use a Ready Brute tow bar. The arms are removable to provide a clean unobtrusive look when not in use.

To flat tow your CR-V you'll also need a tow bar wiring kit, braking system, and safety cables. If you haven't already purchased these items then I have the following recommendations for you:

Tow Bar Wiring Kit: Roadmaster Diode 7-Wire to 6-Wire Flexo-Coil Wiring Kit # RM-15267. This diode kit allows you to use your Honda CR-V's tail lights and wiring system while preventing feedback from your RV.

Note: Since you have separate lighting, this kit will cause your brake lights to function as both brake and turn signal lights. A wiring converter # 118158 and 2 additional diodes # RM-792 will be needed if you want to retain separate turn and brake signals.

You will need to remove the ACC RADIO 34 use located in the instrument panel fuse block so I highly recommend installing the Roadmaster FuseMaster Fuse Bypass # RM76511. This will make removing the fuse as easy as flipping a switch and will prevent the fuse and fuse block from being damaged. Removing and inserting fuses regularly can lead to damage to the contacts and if the contacts in the fuse block go out you'll have to replace the entire fuse block.

Braking System: Brake Buddy Select 3 Portable Supplemental Braking System # HM39524. This system offers intense, emergency braking or steady, smooth braking in a single portable system. Easily switch between proportional or full braking using the remote from the cab of your motorhome. The included charge line kit will also keep your CR-V's battery charged while you tow.

Safety Cables: RoadMaster 68" Single Hook, Coiled Safety Cables # RM-643. The coiled design of these cables will help prevent them from dragging on the ground and being damaged.
