Recommended Trailer Hitch Receiver and Wiring for 2022 Honda Pilot
Question:
I need to add a hitch to my 2022 Honda Pilot and I really don't know anything about it or what I should pick. Is there something you would recommend? I appreciate any help you can give me in my time of need.

For your 2022 Honda Pilot I recommend the etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver # e98840. This Class III hitch has a concealed cross tube and a 2" receiver. It features a matte black powder coat finish for a rugged look that hides dirt and dings better than your typical glossy finish.
For wiring to power your trailer's signal lights the most reliable option is the Tekonsha T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness # 118760. This will give you a 4-way connection at the back of your vehicle. If you plan to tow a trailer with brakes then you would want the 7-way connections # 118286 instead. If you would like to have the option to use both I recommend installing the 7-way and just using a 4-way adapter like the # PK12716 whenever necessary.
I would also recommend getting a ball mount like the etrailer Ball Mount Kit # 989900. This kit has two ball mounts, one with a 3/4" rise or 2" drop and the other with a 2-3/4" rise or 4" drop. It also comes with a 1-7/8" and 2" ball, as well as a ball mount bag to store everything in.
I have attached some review and installation videos for you to check out.
